Job summary

Park District of Highland Park is seeking a Part-Time IMRF year-round Gymnastics Head Coach at West Ridge Community Center in Highland Park, IL. The role includes coaching early childhood and recreational gymnastics and assisting with summer camp programming at our new 10,000 sq ft gym.

You may coach up to 29 hours per week, including weekends, depending on programming and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; four-year degree preferred.
• At least 3 years as a gymnastics instructor; supervisory experience preferred.
• USAG Membership may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct gymnastics instruction for participants of varying ages and skill levels.
• Develop lesson plans and practice activities to promote growth and progression.
• Train instructors and mentor a team of coaches; assist with staff scheduling.
