Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Gunsmith for a part-time role in Springfield, MO (Outdoor World). You will provide world-class service, assist customers with purchases, identify needs, and make product recommendations.

Travel may be required for factory certifications, with an emphasis on safety around chemicals and dust. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of bench shop experience on firearms and the ability to pass health and safety tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred apprenticeship or college degree.
• At least 2 years of bench/shop experience on shotguns, rifles and handguns.

Responsibilities

• Provides World-Class service to customers interested in purchasing merchandise.
• Assists customers with purchases and identifies needs.
• Makes product recommendations and promotes programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Works in a Gunsmith capacity with machinery knowledge and safety practices.
