Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO, is seeking a Gunsmith to deliver world-class service to customers purchasing firearms and accessories. You will assist with purchases, identify needs, and make informed recommendations while promoting in-store programs.

The role requires hands-on bench work with firearms, knowledge of gunsmithing machinery, and adherence to safety, dress code, and testing protocols. Certification travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship or college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of bench/shop experience on shotguns, rifles and handguns.
• Working knowledge of gunsmithing machinery (lathe, grinder, sander).

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class service to customers interested in purchasing firearms and accessories.
• Assist customers with purchases and identify their needs.
• Make product recommendations and promote programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, in-store pickup).
• Adhere to safety, dress code and testing requirements as applicable.
