Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide Guitar and Bass instruction and teach other music courses as assigned.
• Provide instruction for courses at a variety of times and locations.
• Demonstrate commitment to student engagement, success, and instructional excellence.
• Maintain office hours and electronic communication to stay accessible to students.
• Prepare and use a course syllabus and assessments per college guidelines.
• Use diverse teaching methods and college LMS to post grades and resources.
• Evaluate student performance and inform students of progress in a timely manner.
• Assist in developing and distributing assessments for courses and program objectives.
• Provide curriculum recommendations to Academic Dean and Curriculum Resource Team.
• Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and administration.
• Submit timely reports and participate in professional development.
• Demonstrate lifelong learning and a passion for teaching community college students.
