Job summary

VIP Hospitality LLC at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix is seeking a friendly part-time Guest Services Associate to help travelers find information, directions, and services, brightening their day while we keep the airport America's Friendliest.

Shifts are 15–29 hours per week, 6am–12pm on Sun, Thu, and Sat, with starting wages at $16.00 per hour. Benefits may include parking/transit reimbursement, 401(k), PTO, and medical, dental, and vision insurance depending on status.

Qualifications

• Customer service or information help desk experience preferred.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for full shift.
• Able to use computers/tablets/phones and software such as Microsoft Office/Rippling within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at airport information desks or booths, help with virtual queue, greet and guide inbound passengers, and support airport stakeholders to close guest needs.

About the role

• Be a part of the customer service team at Sky Harbor International Airport! We help airport guests find their way, find the services they need, and do what we can to brighten their day to make our airport, America's Friendliest!
• Part-time work between 15-29 hours per week.
• Availability required is 6am-12pm Sun, Thu, and Sat
• Wages begin at $16.00 per hour.

What you'll do

• You may find yourself variably assigned to any one of our guest services responsibilities. This could include engaging guests at and around airport information desks or booths, checking outbound passengers in at virtual queuing, greeting and guiding inbound international passengers in the FIS, wayfinding for those who find themselves at the rental car facility, or providing additional support to airport stakeholders, programs, or volunteers to close the loop on airport guest needs.

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate is proactive, engaging, and welcoming of a diverse airport community.
• Customer service or wayfinding/information help desk experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in speaking and writing in the English language
• Preference to those who speak additional languages particularly Spanish.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to the entire length of the shift.
• Must be able to operate and/or learn how to operate computers/tablets/smartphones and software such as Microsoft Office/Rippling within first two weeks.
• Able to remain positive, empathetic, and calm during passenger and team member interactions
• Must be able to acquire and maintain an airport-issued badge ID:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Authorized for employment in the United States
  • Able to provided required forms of identification for badging in a timely manner
