Job summary

Applegreen is inviting team members to join our travel plaza locations as a Part Time Team Member. You will provide warm, friendly service to travelers, handle payments at the POS, and assist with food preparation and service to ensure high-quality offerings.

You will also support cleaning, stocking, and sanitizing workstations, while following food safety standards and brand guidelines. This role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and engage with travelers.
• Operate POS system, process payments accurately and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperatures.
• Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
