Job summary

Applegreen is hiring a Team Member (Part Time) to provide exceptional customer service, clean and stock, and process payments at our travel plaza. You will prepare and serve quality food while adhering to safety standards and brand guidelines.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, stocking and rotating products, and supporting overall plaza operations to meet traveler needs. Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers (travelers).
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures: wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
