Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help unload trucks.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. We offer a supportive team and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing and pulling.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean and presentable; bathrooms stocked and floors cleaned.
• Other duties as assigned.
