Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer in-store in Texas. The role includes assisting customers, handling transactions at the register, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety.

You will maintain stock, unload trucks, and engage with customers and team members to uphold high service standards. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail or service experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
