The Betsy – South Beach, a premier boutique hotel on Ocean Drive, seeks a part-time Food and Beverage Host in Miami Beach, FL. Hosts welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and guide guests to their servers, upholding The Betsy standards.

You will manage reservations, coordinate with kitchen and staff, and ensure a seamless dining experience across LT Steak & Seafood and The Alley. English proficiency and a service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Degree or certificate in hospitality management or related field preferred.
Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
Detail-oriented with a professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Excellent interpersonal and service skills.
Ability to rapidly resolve guest issues.

Responsibilities

Make reservations for guests collecting date, time, party size, name, phone, and special requests.
Ensure all messages are registered in the reservations system.
Take to-go orders and input into the POS system.
Distribute reservations among servers to balance workload.
Seat guests and introduce them to their server.
Ensure guest satisfaction before departure.
Notify management of large parties or special requests.
Know daily specials and menu items from kitchen.
Answer phones promptly in a friendly, professional tone.
Monitor and maintain knowledge of prices and specials.
