West Ottawa Public Schools is seeking a GSRP Educational Assistant for Lakeshore Elementary School to support early-childhood learning during the school year. The 30-hour-per-week, part-time position runs Monday through Thursday, assisting the Lead GSRP team in a busy elementary setting.

Ideal candidates have a CDA credential preferred or are willing to obtain it, plus experience with children, reliable attendance, and strong communication in a collaborative school environment.

Qualificações

• CDA credential preferred, or willingness to obtain the CDA.
• Experience working with children and teaching developmentally appropriate skills.
• Demonstrates good attendance, punctuality and strong communication/organizational skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and trustworthy demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the Lead GSRP team to uphold classroom requirements and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the teacher to collect and maintain records on children's developmental stages.
• Attend staff meetings and training programs to maintain or obtain CDA credentials.
