Job summary

Cabarrus County Schools is seeking a Kids:Plus Group Leader (2 hour AM) in Concord, NC. The role supports licensed childcare services for school-age children and requires adherence to all safety and program guidelines.

You will supervise activities, lead group sessions, coordinate with site staff and communicate with parents to ensure a positive, structured environment. Employment is part-time and non-exempt with an hourly wage of $16.07.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background check and qualification letter required.
• CPR and First Aid within 90 days.
• Basic School-Age Care certification or equivalent.
• Program Coordinator certification or progress toward NC credentials.
• Maintain health and safety training per NCDCDEE.
• Demonstrate reliability and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare center daily.
• Supervise groups of children.
• Ensure physical safety of children.
• Meet developmental needs of children of various ages.
• Plan weekly activity schedules.
• Communicate with parents.
• Lead group time and activities.
• Maintain CCS and KIDS:PLUS policies.
• Cover for Site Coordinator when absent.
