Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass NC background check and hold qualification letter (renew before expiration).
• Must complete orientation within 6 weeks, CPR/First Aid within 3 months and health & safety training within required hours.
• Demonstrate a pleasant disposition, patience, flexibility, and love for children.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Opens and prepares the center for daily activities and programs.
• Supervises groups of children and ensures safety.
• Supports developmentally appropriate activities and rest/quiet times.
• Communicates with parents and staff; maintains program documentation.
• Assists in planning weekly activity schedules and group time.
• Ensures compliance with childcare rules and CCS/KIDS:PLUS policies.
