Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health seeks a Group Facilitator to lead groups at the outpatient level (PHP & IOP) and assist in crisis intervention as needed. You will communicate with the treatment team and ensure timely, accurate documentation of all services.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (Masters may be in progress), understanding confidentiality laws, and a valid CA driver's license if driving is required. Schedule is part-time, onsite in Irvine, CA with some travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Group facilitation and psychoeducation delivery.
• Knowledge of confidentiality laws and professional ethics.
• Ability to document services and maintain medical records.
• Understanding of crisis/de-escalation strategies.
• Valid CA driver's license and liability insurance if driving.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PHP/IOP groups and educational sessions.
• Complete group notes immediately after each session.
• Document all services in patient records.
• Collaborate with Program/Clinical Directors to develop therapy programs.
• Assess suicidality and safety concerns.
• Travel to other facilities for trainings if required.
