Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Group Facilitator for our Glendale, CA onsite location. This part-time role supports outpatient PHP & IOP programs, facilitates groups, documents notes, and collaborates with the clinical team to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include crisis assessment, psychoeducation, and ensuring adherence to policies and confidentiality. Travel to other facilities for trainings may be required. Competitive hourly compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Understanding of confidentiality laws and ethics.
• Post-offer health check and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate groups, workshops, and education sessions.
• Complete group notes immediately after each session.
• Document services in patient records.
• Adhere to policies, Joint Commission standards, and regulations.
• Assess suicidality and safety planning as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients.
• Model healthy eating behaviors during meals.
• Travel to other facilities for trainings if required.
