You will perform inspections, manage trash, assist with make-ready tasks, and respond to on-call emergencies. The position offers seasonal hours and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is helpful
• Takes pride in keeping landscaping, grounds, and common areas clean and welcoming
• Comfort with basic landscaping tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maximize part-time hours
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances is helpful
• Good safety habits
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members and contract laborers

Responsibilities

• Inspect grounds and buildings regularly and report safety or maintenance issues
• Daily trash pick up across the community including common areas
• Move trash and items left outside dumpsters into containers
• Maintain curb appeal and keep tour routes looking exemplary
• Clean and maintain the pool as directed
• Distribute resident communications for events and notices
• Assist with work orders for apartments and common areas
• Support make-ready tasks including painting, carpet cleaning, appliance repairs, some plumbing/electrical work
• Shovel snow, plow, and salt or melt ice as needed
• Be available or on-call for after-hours emergencies when assigned
