Job summary

Ocala Golf Club in Ocala, FL, is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to support the course maintenance team. You will be responsible for landscaping around the golf course and for contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow your knowledge of golf club operations.

Qualifications

Must design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred.
Able to create spray programs for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.
Able to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations.
Ability to give oral and written instructions.
Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation.
Must be dependable.

Responsibilities

Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads as needed.
Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
