Job summary

Sunquest-Properties is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Associate to keep multi-family communities pristine and well-maintained. The role covers grounds, amenities, exteriors, leasing offices, parking areas and other buildings, with daily trash removal, cleaning, and basic repair tasks.

You will support make-ready units and assist the Maintenance Supervisor while ensuring a secure, welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance or janitorial tasks.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication with residents and team.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings in a neat and safe condition.
• Remove trash from office areas and perimeters daily.
• Assist in market-ready unit preparation, including trash-out of vacant units before make-ready.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Property Manager and assist in repairs as needed.
• Represent the community professionally with residents and guests at all times.

Overview: Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office,parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintenance

• Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office,parking lots and other community buildings.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments(trash outs) prior to make-ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.
• Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager.

Leasing

• Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
• Assist management team with other various tasks required.

Administrative

• Uphold all company policies, goals and values.

Resident Relations

• Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.
• Deliver communication documentation to residents.
• Contribute to resident retention programs.

Safety

• Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
• Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
• Immediately report all unsafe conditions.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate vehicle and driver’s license required according to community needs.
• Demonstrate ability to perform tasks described above without seeking outside contractor assistance.
