Job summary

Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Worker – Grounds to perform care of lawns, trees, shrubs, and decorative areas. You will assist with maintenance of grounds equipment and contribute to the operation of college facilities.

Minimum qualifications include 18+ years of age and a valid driver’s license; a HS diploma or GED is preferred. Schedule is 6:30 am–12:00 pm, Monday–Friday, up to 29 hours/week with benefits for part-time regular staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Wash exterior and clean interiors of vehicles as needed.
• Maintain and care for lawns, trees, shrubs, and decorative areas.
• Mow, trim, rake, and irrigate all areas; prune trees and shrubs.
• Operate, maintain, and repair grounds equipment.
• Assist with snow removal when needed and be on-call during snow events.
