Job summary

Smart & Final is seeking a Part-time Associate at the 441 So San Francisco location. The role involves stocking, merchandising, cashier duties, and customer service in a fast-paced grocery warehouse setting.

Starting rate is $19.70 per hour. You will report to the Store Manager and help maintain store sections while ensuring excellent service to customers in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and colleagues.
• Carry out written or oral instructions with common-sense understanding.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and stock store sections; receive stock and set pricing.
• Operate a cash register and handle transactions; verify alcohol eligibility where applicable.
• Assist customers and load purchases into vehicles when needed.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and record keeping for store supplies.
