Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store associate to deliver fast, friendly and accurate customer service in the Center Store department. You will help keep shelves clean, properly stocked and easy to shop while following company policies.

You will learn store systems, assist with inventory and ordering, and always adhere to Food Safety and Workplace safety guidelines. The role requires wearing the uniform and meeting safety standards on duty.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic customer service in the Center Store to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves, tags and stock according to store policy.
• Follow Food Lion policies, safety guidelines and dress code.
• Use store systems (ACIS/CAO) for inventory and ordering when needed.
• Report accidents and hazards to management on duty.
