Job summary

Food Lion in Sanford, NC is seeking a Store Team Member to provide quality customer service in the Center Store (Grocery) department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through friendly service, and minimize shrink by following the standard practice.

You will stock shelves, ensure saleable merchandise, follow safety guidelines, use ACIS and CAO, and complete CBT training. Join our team of associates delivering a fast, accurate shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and be able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves and shelf tag moldings; stock from tag to tag.
• Place only saleable merchandise on shelves and ensure compliance with policies.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines; report accidents as required.
• Complete CBT training and training packets; perform other duties as assigned.
