Responsibilities

• Walks the store and ensures awareness of promotions and sales items.
• Computes bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or debit.
• Issues receipts, refunds, credits, rain checks or change due to customers.
• Operates cash register and scans items, records price and tax.
• Greets customers and responds to needs.
• Maintains clean checkout areas and handles coupons/rain checks.
