Job summary

SpartanNash's Family Fare in Blair, NE seeks a part-time associate to prepare coffee beverages and food, operate the cash register, and deliver courteous service. You’ll stock items, manage displays, and support store programs while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

You'll need a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), strong communication, and basic math skills. Prior retail experience is preferred, and you may be asked to assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills; interact politely with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee shop beverages; brew, mix and/or blend beverages according to set standards.
• Prepare food items according to procedures.
• Operate cash register to itemize purchases and process payments.
• Stock items and rotate coffee items and merchandise displays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Notify the department lead or manager when products need to be ordered.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and guest experience guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
