Job summary

Smart & Final is seeking a part-time Retail Associate for the Westlake Village location at 919 Westlake Village. You will perform management-appointed duties including stocking, maintaining store sections, delivering services, and keeping the store clean to provide a positive shopping experience.

The role involves assisting customers, pricing merchandise, stocking shelves, handling perishable items, and basic bookkeeping tasks.

Qualifications

Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.

Responsibilities

Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
Ensure proper pricing on merchandise and check product date codes for rotation; stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
Set up advertising or promotional displays.
Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers by providing current store and product information.
When requested, load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
