Job summary

Smart & Final is seeking a Part-Time Associate in Los Angeles to support store operations and customer service across the 395 location. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and cashier duties, while maintaining friendly support for shoppers.

The role calls for reliable, team-oriented individuals who can lift up to 60 pounds and handle daily store tasks with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to interact with the public.
• Capable of reading and writing English and following instructions.
• Experience handling cash and operating a register or POS system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store sections, stock merchandise, set up displays and ensure proper pricing.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, refunds and sales transactions.
• Assist customers, provide product and store information, and help with loading purchases.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, track lost/damaged items and store supplies.
