Job summary

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Graphic Designer for a marketing agency client based in New York. This is a part-time, contract position with a 100% remote schedule and flexible hours.

Create polished marketing assets for print and digital channels, including direct-mail pieces, email campaigns, display advertising, and website creative. Strong brand focus and attention to detail drive deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of graphic design experience and/or formal education in graphic design.
• Strong understanding of visual marketing principles for print and digital channels.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign, or comparable software.
• Direct-mail design or production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and revise direct-mail pieces and client-facing proofs for review and approval.
• Create and prepare production-ready artwork for envelopes, letterhead, and other printed materials, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Develop and update marketing emails, digital display advertisements, and website creative for clients and internal use.
• Maintain campaign calendars and track OEM-specific creative requirements, deadlines, and approval steps.
• Review marketing materials for OEM guidelines and co-op advertising compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Create polished, engaging marketing assets across print and digital channels, including direct-mail pieces, email campaigns, display advertising, and website creative. Combines strong visual design skills with careful project coordination and attention to detail to ensure client materials meet brand, OEM, vendor, and co-op advertising requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and revise direct-mail pieces and client-facing proofs for review and approval.

Create and prepare production-ready artwork for envelopes, letterhead, and other printed materials, coordinating with vendors as needed.

Develop and update marketing emails, digital display advertisements, and website creative for clients and internal use.

Maintain campaign calendars and track OEM-specific creative requirements, deadlines, and approval steps.

Review marketing materials for compliance with OEM guidelines and applicable co-op advertising requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to help ensure creative work is accurate, consistent, and delivered on schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of graphic design experience and/or formal education in graphic design.

Strong understanding of visual marketing principles and effective design for print and digital channels.

Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign , or comparable design and production software.

Direct-mail design or production experience a plus.

Strong organizational skills, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

This part-time position offers an hourly rate of $25-30/hr, commensurate with experience.
