Job summary

St. Clair County Community College is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach Graphic Arts courses (GD 110–GD 280). Courses cover advertising design, intro to graphic arts, digital imaging, photography, production, web design, and more, with varying contact hours.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining records, advising students, and contributing to course development. Morning, afternoon, evening, and online offerings may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• Two years of professional graphic design/illustration experience preferred
• Experience with instructional technology in the classroom is a plus
• Ability to develop and adapt courses for online or hybrid delivery

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver academic instruction and develop syllabi
• Maintain class records and attendance for financial aid compliance
• Participate in assessment of student learning and course development
• Advise students and manage office hours as scheduled
