Job summary

SUNY Niagara’s Child Development Center seeks a part-time grant-funded Lead Teacher for up to 30 hours/week, 10 months, Monday–Friday. College records and references required. Transportation to work is expected. Openings are evaluated as needed and applicants may be contacted if a position exists.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field or CDA credential.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing the learning environment.
• Individualizing infant/toddler routines.
• Facilitating curriculum goals and objectives.
• Coordinating parent and teacher conferences.
• Serving meals and related classroom duties.
• Other duties assigned by Director.

Education

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or related field

CDA credential

9 college credits in Early Childhood with plan of study leading to CDA/Associate’s Degree and 2 years experience
