Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York is seeking a Part Time Extended Day Assistant to supervise students and help create a nurturing, safe environment after school. Under the supervision of the Grammar School Director and Extended Day Coordinator, you will set up materials and lead activities from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

A Part Time Extended Day Assistant will assist in building a nurturing and safe learning environment for children by being responsible for supervising students in various settings during unstructured times. Under the direction and supervision of the Grammar School Director and Extended Day Coordinator, the Assistant is responsible for setting up materials and supervising after school groups. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with children and treat all children with dignity and respect. To excel in this role, the candidate must be flexible, attentive, and willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the CGPS’s program and philosophy.
Monday - Friday: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Salary Range for this position: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
