Job summary

Rutgers University invites applications for part-time Instructors for the Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) – Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). Instructors will teach in NJ government-related areas and manage course administration and content delivery.

Position is part-time; requires a Bachelor's degree and instructional experience. Compensation is hourly and paid on-site at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Piscataway, NJ.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Requires at least two years of instructional experience or completion of hiring unit’s Train the Trainer program.
• Requires 3 years’ experience working in above referenced government positions.
• Also requires good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach in NJ government-related areas: NJ Tax Assessment Administration, Educational Facilities Management, Elected Officials, Municipal Financial Management, Housing Authority, Housing Professionals, Municipal Clerks, Professional Development, Public Purchasing, Public Safety, Public Works Management, Planning & Zoning, School Transportation Supervision, NJ Tax Collection and Train-the-Trainer.
• Responsible for course administration and content delivery.
