Per Scholas is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Transactions Attorney to support the legal department on government contracts and related commercial matters. The role emphasizes agile drafting, rapid mastery of complex agreements, and proactive risk management in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The attorney will draft and negotiate complex docs, advise stakeholders on compliance and flow-down clauses, and collaborate across programs, IT, and finance.

Formación

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in any US jurisdiction in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years in government contracts or related commercial transactions.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex government and commercial contracts.
• Advise on regulatory risks and compliance obligations.
• Develop contract templates and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with Program, IT, and Finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
• Support other legal/compliance projects as needed.
