Job summary

Sunroad seeks a part-time Groundskeeper for Maderas Golf Club in Poway, CA. The role covers a range of golf course maintenance tasks, including landscape upkeep, bunker maintenance, and safe operation of power equipment.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required, with on-site work in varying weather conditions. Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, especially in golf settings, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in groundskeeping or landscaping, ideally on a golf course or park setting.
• Must read, write, and understand English to safely follow instructions and complete documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform all essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers; operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed and vegetation; assist with course setup and debris removal.
• Operate utility vehicles for hauling materials and removing debris; drive golf carts safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
