Job summary

Bobby Jones Golf Club in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Part-Time Golf Cart Mechanic to join Troon’s global hospitality team. You will maintain golf carts, perform preventative maintenance, train guest services staff, and ensure carts are ready for play following Troon standards.

This role requires a relevant certificate or 3–6 months of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 3 days per week, 6am–2pm.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience or both.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and small engines on golf carts or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and follows a preventative maintenance program for golf carts.
• Maintains cart cleanliness and appearance.
• Trains guest services staff in cart care and charging.
• Prepares carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
• Orders parts and performs routine repairs on golf operation vehicles.
• Ensures safety and regular attendance.
