Job summary

American Golf Corporation is seeking a cart mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on golf carts on our courses. You will handle oil changes, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and diagnostics to keep carts in excellent condition.

The role requires excellent mechanical skills, the ability to work independently or with a team, and willingness to work weekends and holidays. You will interact professionally with staff and guests and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with small engines (golf carts).
• Experience in a maintenance or repair role.
• Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact with golf course staff and customers professionally.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., golf cart batteries).

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on golf carts, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on the carts.
• Clean and detail the carts to keep them in top condition.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maintain/repair carts promptly.
• Interact with golf course staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Keep accurate maintenance/repair records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
