Job summary

vitrocareers is seeking a Part-Time Glass Inspector to join our production team. The role focuses on inspecting glass, quality control, and supporting production, with weekend and evening shifts and up to 28 hours per week, paid weekly.

You will inspect with fixtures, assess visual quality, identify defects, and rework as needed, while maintaining a safe, orderly work area and contributing to daily production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect glass using fixtures to verify specifications on and off the production line.
• Evaluate visual quality, including surface condition, edgework, and sizing.
• Identify defects and pack glass according to established packaging guidelines.
• Rework glass when required to meet quality standards.
• Support daily production needs and adjust to workflow demands.
• Collect quality control data as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
• Assist with pattern changes and related production adjustments.
