Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a physician to provide high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You’ll mentor Advanced Practice Providers, ensure coordinated care, and lead in clinical excellence while advancing Curana Health’s mission to transform senior care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted medical license in the employed state.
• Active DEA license.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Compassionate, intelligent, motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Complete history and physicals on new patients and conduct routine rounding (minimum weekly).
• Collaborate with APPs to manage regulatory and complex visits, ensuring clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the care team.
• Close quality gaps and improve patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and align care with Curana Health's mission.
• Represent Curana Health as a clinical leader in the communities served.
