Qualifications

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses focused on SuperCollider and computational approaches to sound and music generation and exploration.
• Guide students in applying synthesis, DSP, algorithmic composition, and real-time programming via SuperCollider.
• Design and implement custom synthesis instruments, generative music systems, and interactive audio apps.
• Teach programming concepts as they relate to music and sound.
• Develop assignments and projects blending technical understanding with artistry.
• Provide mentorship and feedback on student projects and performances.
• Collaborate with faculty across electronic music, sound design, coding, and immersive media initiatives.
