Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a part-time Dentist to provide general dentistry with an emphasis on oral surgery at our facilities. No weekend or evening hours; on-call service not required; DOCS handles staffing, invoicing and supplies, with malpractice reimbursement and clinical support from the Chief Dental Officer.

Responsibilities include exam, diagnosis, treatment, extractions, documentation in SOAP format, and logging to Corporate Office; must hold an active dental license and DDS/DMD degree;

Qualifications

• Possess and maintain an active and unrestricted State Dental License.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Dentistry (DDS/DMD).
• Experienced clinician preferred.
• Confident and proficient in surgical technique.
• Ability to lift portal dental equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
• Recent graduates who have completed a Residency Program are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Exam, diagnose and treat patients within defined scope of service.
• Treatment of acutely symptomatic concerns.
• Perform routine and surgical extractions.
• Document each dental encounter utilizing SOAP format and update health history.
• Obtain patient consent prior to delivering care and log to Corporate Office after each visit.
• Perform dental services within designated hours of operations.
