Job summary
42 North Dental in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time general dentist to join our team. You will manage the full dental patient experience, from exam to treatment planning, delivering comprehensive care in a collaborative setting.
You will work 3 days per week: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday, 8AM-5PM, with a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%. This opportunity offers competitive earnings and ongoing CE opportunities.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state dental license to practice.
- Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
- Keep up with new developments through continuing education.
