Job summary

42 North Dental in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time general dentist to join our established practice. You will provide comprehensive dental care, exam patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver high-quality restorative and preventive services in a patient-friendly environment.

Work three days a week (Tue, Thu, Fri) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with either a daily guarantee or a 36% collection-based earning potential.

Qualifications

• Requires DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
