Autheo is looking for a part-time General Counsel & Head of Legal to oversee compliance and regulatory strategy for blockchain operations. This equity-based role will involve navigating complex legal landscapes and safeguarding innovative technologies while enabling business integrations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cryptocurrency law, digital asset regulations, and a strategic mindset to ensure the company operates within legal frameworks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive legal experience focused on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Experience advising on securities law compliance and digital asset regulations.
• Expertise in payments systems and AML/KYC frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of global compliance frameworks and oversee regulatory strategy.
• Provide legal support for the OCC national trust bank charter application.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements for partnerships and financial services integrations.
