Job summary

Autheo is seeking an experienced IP Patent Paralegal to serve as a high-ownership equity cofounder supporting the protection of our groundbreaking intellectual property across Layer-0/Layer-1, post-quantum cryptography, and AI-enabled platforms.

You will work with patent counsel, engineers, and researchers to harvest inventions, manage filings, and maintain a robust portfolio in a fast-moving blockchain environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a patent paralegal or IP support in tech fields
• Strong knowledge of USPTO filing processes and docketing
• Ability to document technical concepts clearly for filings
• Experience coordinating with inventors, engineers and counsel

Responsibilities

• Support development of Autheo’s IP strategy aligned with Layer-0/Layer-1 and DePIN
• Document disclosures and diagrams from engineering, research, cryptography and product teams
• Prepare draft materials for provisional and non-provisional patent filings
• Conduct prior-art searches and summarize findings for counsel
• Manage docketing, deadlines, filing logistics, and USPTO communications
• Maintain invention disclosure records and portfolio tracking systems
• Coordinate technical feedback between inventors and patent counsel
• Assist with open-source compliance and IP ownership documentation
• Help prepare IP materials for funding, partnerships, due diligence
• Improve scalable processes for invention disclosures within a distributed team
