Job summary

InstaCare EMS is seeking new and experienced EMTs to join our Brooklyn Base located in Coney Island. We value strong communication and interpersonal skills and offer a pathway to serving the community with dedicated teammates.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State EMT-Basic certification required.
• New York State Driver's License preferred.
• Any other NY DOH or regulating agency requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic life support (BLS) in compliance with city, state and organizational procedures.
• Be friendly, helpful, and professional in all interactions with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Maintain a clean and fully stocked ambulance per NYS DOH requirements, restocking supplies at the end of each shift.

Qualifications of an EMT:

• Valid New York State EMT-Basic certification required
• New York State Driver's License preferred
• Any and all other requirements for the position as determined by the New York State Department of Health or other regulating agency or statute
