Job summary

Implicit is building the world’s leading AI Knowledge Engine for Maintenance and Support. We’re seeking a part-time full-stack developer in the United States to join our team and collaborate with data science and product groups.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will work on frontend interfaces with React, Redux and Tailwind, and backend services with Java, Python, FastAPI and Postgres. You’ll contribute to testing, reviews, and performance optimization while staying current with AI trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• Proficiency in React and Typescript with backend development experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Playwright and Vitest testing frameworks.
• Version control using Git; collaborative workflows on GitHub or GitLab.
• Ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect UI with strong UX sense.
• Excellent written and verbal English; able to work with remote teams.
• US citizenship and current residence in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend interfaces with React, Redux, React Query and Tailwind.
• Build backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, FastAPI and Postgres.
• Ensure code quality with tests using Playwright, Vitest and related tooling.
• Collaborate with product and data science teams to ship features.
• Optimize performance via lazy loading, code splitting and asset optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with AI development trends and best practices.
