Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to perform cashier and service center tasks.
• Must meet minimum age requirements and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and assist with bagging.
• Scan orders and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Follow cash handling procedures and assist with refunds and overrides.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat and clean work stations and front end area.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and safety standards.
• Complete required CBT trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
