Job summary

Bethel Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bethel, CT is seeking a part-time receptionist (16 hours weekly). As the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors, you will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and contribute to a positive team environment.

Your duties include answering phones and emails, managing inquiries, coordinating appointments and resident activities, and assisting with information in line with facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with office equipment and basic computer apps.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Receive inquiries and release information per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings and resident activities.
• Receive newspapers, mail and gifts for residents.
