Job summary

Revere Health is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Part-Time Receptionist for our Family Practice and Urgent Care. You will provide exceptional customer service to patients and families while ensuring the front office operates efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Work hours are in the evenings and weekends as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Minimum one year experience in a medical related field (medical office experience) required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under stress with frequent interruptions.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients and families with professionalism and compassion.
• Assist patients with verification of demographics, insurance and appointment times.
• Make any appropriate changes or updates to the account.
• Assist patients with completing registration and medical forms.
• Manage difficult or emotional patient issues appropriately and professionally.
• Enter patient and insurance information accurately.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments timely and accurately.
• Collect co-payments and reconcile daily cash reports.
• Answer calls promptly and transfer as needed, providing accurate information.
• Record messages and ensure HIPAA/consent forms are handled.
