Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at a healthcare location in Wayne, NJ. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• At least five years of security-related experience is required.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them according to site procedures.
• Verify visitor credentials and issue visitor badges.
• Maintain visitor logs and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Answer phones and provide general information professionally.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor front desk activity and report unusual or policy-violating activity.
