Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Millburn, NJ to serve as a professional presence at a healthcare location. You will manage access control, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining safety.

Position offers flexible part-time shifts with a pay rate of $21.30 per hour. Applicants must meet minimum security requirements and pass a background check and drug screening where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license needed for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors at a healthcare front desk, following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify IDs and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Monitor facility access, direct visitors, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer calls, provide information, and support a welcoming environment.
